Client Spotlight: Krystal

This January marks the 2nd year running our group nutrition program. We call it the Nutrition Kickstart! You can read more about the Kickstart HERE.

Recently Krystal took part in a mini program we ran to help us make important updates to our group nutrition program. The mini program was an 8-week program that focused on implementing high-impact strategies for each participant. The strategies were client-specific.

What have we learned so far?

The most productive nutrition coaching likely focuses on goal setting and habit implementation. From there, we focus on education, accountability, and recognition. Our biggest takeaway is this: “If you can’t live with the program, you can’t live with the results”.

Our approach with exercise and nutrition coaching looks like this.

  • set a goal
  • start small and build success
  • routinely evaluate progress
  • make the necessary adjustments for continued success.

As clients gain momentum, they become more confident in their ability to tackle larger goals. How did Krystal do? Pretty fantastic I’d say. Over the course of our 8-week program, she:

  • lost ~ 5lbs of total weight
  • dropped body fat!
  • increased lean body mass!!!
  • added regular walking
  • planned ahead for social outings

Talk about high impact! Krystal is doing great and we can’t wait to see what she accomplishes in the coming year! Great job Krystal, we’re proud of your effort!
