COVID-19 Protocols

Previously, I posted a few procedures we were working on to reopen our gym on June 15th. Our list of procedures has grown as the recommendations from public health officials have increased. We will be taking the following measures.

Please note: If you are coming to the gym to train (staff or athlete), it is assumed that you have performed the self screen at home (prior to entering the facility). If you answer “yes” to any of the questions below OR have a fever you have failed the screen. For obvious reasons, a failed screen would suggest that you not come into train until you find out whether or not you’re positive for COVID-19.

It’s important to keep in mind that no facility can guarantee safety at this time and it’s a personal choice to train at the gym. While we obviously want you there, we understand if you are not comfortable at the time. Instead, we would prefer you wait to come back when you’re completely ready.

Finally, many of you may choose to wear a mask. That is fine with the staff, it will not be required however.

*** Lastly, we will not use the chalk bowls in order to minimize touching the same surfaces. I have ordered chalk and we will hand out a block to each athlete (you will need to bring your own container … a zip lock bag works well). The shipment is supposed to arrive Mon (6/15) at some time.

We can’t wait to get back on the platform with each of you!

Stay Strong!
